Le festival « Les Emouvantes » est de retour à Marseille au Théâtre des Bernardines du 13 au 16 septembre autour d’une thématique : « Le rythme de la parole ».

Le festival Les Emouvantes propose depuis plusieurs années une mise en lumière du jazz et des musiques improvisées. Sous la direction artistique du contrebassiste et compositeur Claude Tchamitchian et de sa compagnie Emouvance, les concerts de cette 5e édition s’articuleront autour de la thématique « le rythme de la parole » : quand le mot est un des éléments du langage musical, la phrase un des éléments de la partition totale, le mot une note de plus sur la gamme. Cette position atypique du texte en permet alors une lecture différente, empruntant d’autres chemins sensoriels.

Parmi les propositions artistiques, la nouvelle création du guitariste Marc Ducret mêlant textes (par Laurent Poitrenaux) et vidéo, « L’Argent nous est cher » du tromboniste Yves Ro- bert où la chanteuse Elise Caron s’empare d’un discours électoral et musical, la voix unique de la contrebassiste Joëlle Léandre, la puissance et la douceur de Benat Achiary sur les chants traditionnels basques, la musique contemporaine, la poésie de Lorca, de Pessoa ou de René Char… entre autres.
